Last December 2024, I had the privilege to co-organize and present my study on Indigenous rights education at Sophia University, along with esteemed young scholars and keynote speaker, Prof. Mary Racelis. I also had the privilege to collaborate with my host researcher, Prof. Fumiko Takahashi.

ACUNS 2024 Annual Meeting
Last June 2024, I had the privilege to be the chair and panel convener of the session, Vulnerable Sectors in Southeast Asia: Navigating Human Rights and Political Shifts in Times of Change, at the Academic Council for the United Nations Systems (ACUNS) Annual Meeting 2024, hosted by the United Nations University and the University of Tokyo.

One of the notable conferences I presented in was International Studies Association (ISA) Annual Meeting 2024 held in San Francisco, USA. I presented in a panel title, International Relations and Feminist Pedagogies.

Association of Filipino Students in Japan (AFSJ) Symposium 2024
Last February 2024, I was invited as keynote speaker for the symposium, delivering a talk on graphic ethnography in the social sciences to Filipino students from various Japanese universities.

Last January 2024, I had the privilege to be selected as among the top finalists for the TEDxWaseda student competition and gave a talk on multiple identities and inclusion.

MEXT Scholars Association in Japan, in collaboration with JASSO
Last December 2023, I delivered a lecture about navigating a career in the social sciences field in Japan to an audience of newly tinted MEXT scholars and alumni in Japan.
